The workshop will focus on the ‘everyday and ordinary’ and consider it differently. Through elevating the subject matter of the ‘everyday’, new ways of thinking about our creativity will be explored.

Throughout the workshop you will be guided through various stages of drawing and colour analysis to set challenging, but achievable goals when faced with the prospect of ‘what should I draw?’

Working within the confines of one’s domestic setting and local area, as well as perhaps more limited access to materials, this workshop will utilise what we surround ourselves with when living in these strange times.

Workshop objectives:

  • Observation and appreciation of surroundings;
  • Development of visual ideas;
  • Setting creative challenges.

Please note the number of places on each course is limited and early booking is advisable. All courses take place in our dedicated art studios next to the Studio Pavilion gallery. Please note that we are unable to refund tuition fees if you cancel your booking within two weeks of the course start date.

We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment, tutor illness or circumstances out with our control. In these instances, we will endeavour to offer you a place on an alternative course/rescheduled class or provide a full refund.
