Inspired by a variety of different cultures, we will create and experiment with kite making. Constructing both individual and collaborative decorative kites. One of our main sources of inspiration will be the Guatemalan ‘Barrilete’ kites flown on all saints day to say hello to and celebrate the dead. Children will be encouraged to write messages to the eyes of sky and cosmos.
