During this workshop we will use the playful and accessible techniques of collage and appropriation to create new pieces of creative writing. We will draw upon the language that surrounds us, from song lyrics, news reports and overheard conversations, to tweets and emails, novels and magazines, and make it our own.

Joanna is running 3 creative writing workshops over the Autumn/Winter, take part in 1, 2 or all of them to develop your creative writing skills.

Joanna Peace is an artist, writer and educator based in Glasgow. Committed to supporting interdisciplinary writing practice, Joanna has worked with a number of groups, organisations and publishers across Scotland and internationally on writing and publishing projects. Her own works in fiction, poetry and criticism have been widely published, performed and exhibited. Joanna has held Lecturer positions at the Glasgow School of Art and Plymouth College of Art, and is a founding member of Publication Studio Glasgow. She holds a Masters from the Glasgow School of Art and in 2017 completed a PG Cert in Learning & Teaching.
