Nathaniel Walpole

Nathaniel Walpole is an artist interested in drawing, painting, comic and zine making. He uses these forms to approach ideas of gender, sexuality and the body as a political space, using a narrative to situate these ideas within a broader political, sociological and metaphorical framework.

He graduated from the Fine Art school in Glasgow School of Art with a degree in Painting and Printmaking and would like to use the residency and utilise the Sheds to approach his practice on a larger scale, stepping out of the confines of a desk space and zine based format of presenting his ideas.
