We offer learning visits to nurseries and schools during term-time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from February to November each year. Visits can include a guided tour of House for an Art Lover, the Studio Pavilion gallery and the garden surrounds as well as include a practical hands-on learning workshop delivered in our art studios and designed to support the Curriculum for Excellence.

Our hands on activities explore the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret McDonald looking at their inspiration, their artistic techniques and practices, and or focus on the artist and project presented within the Studio Pavilion gallery. All sessions are linked to the curriculum and are relevant to all stages of the school and university syllabus.

FREE learning visits are available to schools based within the G41, G51 & G52 postcode. Out with this postcode we charge £45+VAT for a school visit for up to 30 children. All visits are subject to availability.
