Irene McCann was awarded the exhibition as the recipient of our PAI award. Irene’s body of work consists predominately of oil on linen of which the subject matter is still life and everyday domestic items, naturally observed through her own personal and imaginative perception. This is a constant and continuous development. Inspiration for her work is brought about by her love of colour, shapes and texture.
Irene holds a Diploma in Graphic Design and works from her studio outside Glasgow. She is an Artist member of GSWA, PAI and GLASGOW ART CLUB and she has work in the public collection of East Renfrewshire Council and many private collections.
